Founded in 1953, our church’s purpose is: “living to proclaim Jesus Christ with everything we are.”
We are affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Whether a person is a long-time follower of Jesus, or has never stepped foot inside a church, all are welcome to participate in the life of our congregation, including the Lord’s Supper. We respect people’s freedom of belief, and at the same time we uphold an orthodox Christian faith, as discovered in the Bible, and proclaimed by the founders of the Stone-Campbell movement (of which our denomination is part).
• Jesus Christ is the Son of God who became flesh through His miraculous conception of the Holy Spirit and birth from a virgin. He lived a sin-free life and willingly accepted his death on a cross to pay the price for the sin of the world. After three days in a grave, Jesus bodily rose to life, had interaction with many witnesses before He ascended into heaven, and now is with God the Father in heaven. Jesus is the only Savior and mediator between God and humans, and apart from Him there is no salvation. Jesus will return to earth one day, judge all people to either everlasting life or destruction, and usher in a new heaven and new earth.
